Robins in the Roses

There is a sweet Robin family who built their nest in my roses on the arbor. Again! The male looks like the same male as last year, but I don't really know if it's the same couple or no. I just like to think it is because that is what I want to believe about it!  It didn't end well last year, sadly, and I am hoping this year they get to write a different ending to their story in the roses!

Here they are in the building stages. It sure seems like they are looking right at me, through the dirty garage window where I try to hide to get pictures!  I hold really still!

Well, today when I checked, the babies hatched!  You can just see their fuzzy little heads. The camera wasn't sure what to focus on.

"Feed me Mama, feed me!"

I am so excited to get to watch this process.
Life is beautiful.

  4. We also had a bird family in front of our kitchen window. We missed the "egg phase" but noticed the other day the babies. So cute!!
